Jos, the Plateau State capital, is set to host the 11th Jos National Trade Fair from Saturday, October 17, to Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the iconic Jos Polo Field. The event, organised by the Plateau Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PLACCIMA) in collaboration with the Plateau State Government, is themed “Harnessing Agricultural Value Chain for Food Security, Job Creation and Shared Prosperity.” The fair aims to promote agricultural development, strengthen business partnerships and create opportunities for economic growth.
The 14-day event will feature over 200 exhibitors from within and outside Nigeria, showcasing agricultural products, Made-in-Nigeria goods, technological innovations, mining, livestock and other industrial products. Beyond business exhibitions, visitors will enjoy daily musical concerts, talent hunts, a children’s park, Nigerian cuisines, grills and other exciting activities. The fair is expected to provide a platform for farmers, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, investors and businesses to showcase their products, explore new markets and establish valuable connections.
Business owners, farmers, entrepreneurs, families and members of the public across Plateau State and beyond are encouraged to participate in the event by exhibiting, shopping and networking. Activities will commence at 8:00 a.m. daily throughout the fair. For enquiries and participation, interested persons can call 0803 348 6915 or 0805 371 6461. The organisers emphasise that the trade fair offers more than an exhibition; it is an opportunity to stimulate investment, create jobs and promote shared prosperity while contributing to the economic development of Plateau State.
