Hon. Obidah Boka Milaham Marks 60th Birthday in Grand Celebration
Hon. Obidah Boka Milaham on Sunday, 26th July 2026, celebrated his 60th birthday in a colourful ceremony attended by family, friends, political associates, business partners and numerous well-wishers who gathered to honour a man widely admired for his contributions to business, leadership and community service.
The day’s activities commenced with a thanksgiving service at COCIN Church, Hwolshe, opposite the National Library, Jos. The service was a moment of reflection and gratitude as prayers were offered in appreciation to God for His faithfulness throughout the celebrant’s six decades of life. Clergymen and worshippers also prayed for God’s continued guidance, strength and abundant blessings upon Hon. Milaham and his family.
The celebration later shifted to Johngrand Hotel, Jos, where guests were treated to an elegant reception featuring goodwill messages, tributes, music and moments of celebration. The event provided an opportunity for friends and associates to recount the remarkable impact Hon. Milaham has made through his entrepreneurial achievements, mentorship and dedication to the development of his community.
Paying a heartfelt tribute, his wife, Mrs. Brenda Milaham, described him as an exceptional husband, a disciplined entrepreneur and a man whose unwavering commitment to hard work, integrity and family values has earned him admiration from many. She thanked God for His sustaining grace over the years and prayed for greater heights and divine protection in the years to come. A number of distinguished guests also extolled the virtues of the celebrant, applauding his humility, generosity and selfless service.
Among those who delivered goodwill messages were Hon. Chief Dr. Ishaya David Lalu, Member representing Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency; Engr. Apollos Samchi, Managing Director of the Jos Water Services Corporation; Hon. Mathew Kwarpo, Member representing Mangu South Constituency; Hon. Emmanuel Mwolpun, Chairman of Mangu Local Government Area; and Dr. Haggai Gutap, Plateau State Coordinator of NG-CARES, alongside other respected dignitaries.
