GISAOR APPLAUDS PRESIDENT TINUBU FOR ARMY FORMATIONS ACROSS BENUE
The Executive Director (Housing Finance and Account), Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR for approving the establishment of additional Army formations across Benue State.
Dr. Gisaor described the approval as a bold and timely intervention by the President, noting that the decision demonstrates the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening security and protecting the lives and property of citizens, particularly in communities affected by persistent insecurity.
He stated that the presence of additional Army formations in strategic locations across the state would help curb incessant attacks and other security challenges, while restoring confidence among residents, farmers, investors and other stakeholders.
The Executive Director further noted that improved security would create a conducive environment for the Federal Government to extend development programmes and projects to the affected areas, particularly in the provision of affordable housing and other critical infrastructure.
Dr. Gisaor commended President Tinubu for his continued commitment to the welfare and security of the people of Benue State, expressing optimism that the new Army formations would significantly contribute to lasting peace, stability and sustainable development across the state.
Dr. Gisaor also called on the affected communities where the Army formations are situated to cooperate fully with the Federal Government and the military authorities, stressing that such collaboration is essential for the successful implementation of the initiative and to ensure that the communities derive maximum benefits from the increased security presence.
