My Dear electorates of pankshin North constituency,
Today, I am compelled to address my esteemed constituents and the citizens of Plateau State regarding my stewardship as the representative of Pankshin North in the Plateau State House of Assembly. While I am humbled to serve as member Representing pankshin North, I remain foremost your trusted servant, a privilege bestowed upon me through your resounding mandate during the 2023 general elections. This sacred trust fuels my unwavering commitment to advancing our collective aspirations.
Your confidence in my representation has been a clarion call to uphold integrity, diligence, and transformative leadership. Central to my mission is uplifting our communities through strategic humanitarianism. Today, I am honoured to announce the critical projects funded by the first tranche (₦40 million) of the 2024 constituency intervention fund, which funded critical infrastructure and education, among others.

The initial allocation has driven transformative projects across critical sectors: Education: Modern classrooms and offices constructed in Dang, Fifen, Mantom, Kwalla, and Gille to improve learning environments; A state-of-the-art Examination Hall at GSS Wokkos to alleviate overcrowding; completion of Six new classrooms at Wuseli, Roofing classrooms schools in Ballang Shippang and Kangshu.

Equally in Healthcare: clinics were built and remodelled in Wulmi, Dilla, and Gung to expand medical access in rural areas. In Community Infrastructure: A Town Hall built in Nyelleng for civic and cultural activities; A Catholic Parish House in Fwanzak to bolster faith-based initiatives.
Roofing and Terrazzo of RCC Wokkos,
More so, Utilities & Energy: Thirty-four boreholes were drilled to address water scarcity; Three transformers were installed, and two were repaired to enhance electricity access; Solar systems were deployed at the Chapel of Redemption (FCE Pankshin) and Holy Cross Cathedral. Furthermore, in Security, I reinforce the prison fencing to meet safety standards.
The second tranche, which came in this week will focus on expanding education infrastructure with classrooms and offices in Tazuk, Dene 2, and Kubong Chigwong to expand educational access. Town Hall in Duk, to foster community cohesion, completion of Pastorium in Funbis to support religious and social activities. Collectively, projects valued at over hundreds of millions reflect strategic partnerships and fiscal prudence.
My interventions are rooted in a philosophy that “leadership is measured by tangible impact, not titles.” By investing in education and healthcare infrastructure, among others mentioned in summary with the 80 million naira plus funds from external sources from friends, associates and NGOs, amongst others, we lay the groundwork for sustainable growth, youth empowerment, and improved quality of life. Collaborations with external partners further amplify our capacity to attract development opportunities for Pankshin North’s prosperity. To my constituents, Your trust is both an honour and a responsibility. I urge us all to safeguard these projects’ longevity, ensuring they serve generations to come.
Signed:
Rt. Hon. Dewan K. Gabriel.
